I've been twice and both times were delicious. Before this place I've been to places with Brazilian bbq and while they were good, there is much more to Brazilian food than grilled meet. This is the place to try all those dishes and I tried all kinds of new and delicious foods. They have bbq if you want it but the selection at the buffet is more than enough to fill you up. I look forward to going again and trying even more new things. Thumbs up and highly recommend it.

This place is great!!! I normally don't go to a place based on one review. However, the review gave this place a great review I said I had to try it. Sure enough. It was awesome. I came here for lunch. They have two prices for their buffet. You can get just the standard buffet, which includes both a cold buffet and a hot buffet. Or you can get the buffet plus barbecue. The hot buffet includes multiple types of meat and has different items on it each day. Today they have some different flavored steaks, chicken, fishes and a nice pork roast. Some of the best cracklin I've had in a while. The buffet is 8.99 and the buffet with barbecue is 12.99. The barbecue included made to order filet wrapped in bacon and top sirloin. I got the buffet with barbecue. The food was great. It tasted good, with the right amount of seasoning. I would have liked the hot food to have been more hot. The food selection was impressive. The barbecue was good, but not impressive. I think the next time I will just stick to the regular buffet. The restaurant was very clean. The bathrooms are separated with the males on one side of the restaurant and the females on the other. They are not clearly marked and I almost used the females bathroom thinking it was unisex. I decided to double check. I'm glad I did. By the way, the females bathroom was very nice and clean and also impressive. The males bathroom was very plain, and just ok. I was so excited thinking that the restaurant really did a good job with the bathroom, which is often overlooked. They did, for the females, not the males. Maybe they will read this and make the guys restroom a bit nicer. It would be a nice touch. The service was ok. The lady seating people and getting drinks and such task was also talking to her grandkids on Skype out in the dinner area, which was ok, i guess, but I had to ask for refills on drink. Yes, I will be back, I think that this was a good tasting, very filling, super clean restaurant worthy of 4 stars. Restaurant owner, want 5 stars... here is my opinion... Make sure your patrons get a bit more attention. Next, label the food on the buffet. This is actually rather important for those that want to know what they are eating. Finally, we'll that's it. As issues go, I think those are small amd very easy to fix. I cannot wait to come back again and rate you 5 stars next time.

This location is difficult to find but worth looking for. The place is clean with nice decor. Food is served buffet-style and there are 4-5 proteins, beans, rice, and some vegetables. There is also a small salad bar. Dessert is an extra charge and I saw only one option. The food is tasty but some items are too salty. That said, we will come back. We want to try the Barbecue only served on the weekend. There are plenty of items that are delicious and worth the money. The staff is very friendly and courteous but you have to ask for drink refills.

Excellent option for Brazilian Food in Tampa Bay. $12.99 per person buffet plenty of meat and veggie options, super large glasses of wine for $5.5 each. Excellent experience. Try the Chocolate Brigadieros for dessert.

Although it pains me to do so, I can't give this place a stellar rating. The family who owns this place seems very nice. However, they do need to improve in checking on drinks, and if you need anything. The restaurant is very clean and modern looking. Like the other reviews said, the men's bathroom needs some updating. On the night we went, there was Brazilian sausage, beef, ribs, beef stroganoff, bacon wrapped chicken, and some type of chicken stew. There was also veggies, veggie rice, white rice, and an odd casava and meat dish. The sausange was really good. It was in a black bean sauce, and the beans were really good. The sausage was heavy, so I ended up putting the black beans over the rice. The beef was good and I think it was braised, but since it was sitting out, it was a little dry. I didn't try the ribs. The beef stroganoff was good, but needed more mushrooms. The bacon wrapped chicken was extremely dry. The rice was pretty good, it seemed to be a little like basmati rice. It was VERY dry. The vegetable rice was better. It was like Brazilian fried rice. The meat and casava dish was weird. It was crunchy and very salty. I didn't care for it. The cold buffet had mostly salad items. The salad was average, but everything was fresh and crispy. I appreciated the cups of watermelon. However, the main issue here is that one of our pieces of chicken was underdone. It was raw in the center. We didn't think too much of it, but then the waitress pointed it out. There was no compensation offered. Not to take off his meal cost, not half of it, not a penny. We also get it that they don't want food wasted, but there don't need to be five signs that say don't wast food. Yes, wast. In my opinion, the cost was high. It was $13 a person, desserts not included. Although the food tasted good, with the raw chicken and lots of the food being dry, we don't think we will be back.

After a drought of Yelp-Review-Writers-Block, I'm back to tell you about my experience at this tasty little family-owned Brazilian Restaurant. The lunch crew and I had passed this a few times on the way to some other treasures on Park Blvd, and saw the sign "coming soon" for awhile. Well, "soon" is finally here as Brasil Tropical has arrived. Their $8.99 lunch buffet was a different take on the Brazilian steakhouse theme I had grown accustomed to and all of their offerings were cooked and ready to be picked up at their buffet table. I was happy to see that there weren't heaps of food (usually indicating re-use or extended buffet time), but just enough for the diners that were in their restaurant. Everything was always available and always seemed very fresh. My cohorts and I tried EVERYTHING that they had available and I was told by the owners that it changes daily. Today there was - peppers and onions steak, grilled and marinated pork, baked chicken, and 2 kinds of fried fish. Additionally they of course had available - white rice, white rice w/ almonds, beans, and a fully stocked salad bar. I'm here to happily report back that everything was cooked wonderfully and very flavorful. The standouts to all of us on this trip were the fried fish and the baked chicken. We definitely over-indulged in those but they were very addicting. Don't get me wrong though, the steak and pork were also well-prepared just not as much of a standout. I'm sure at this point, you'd agree that I (and we) enjoyed the offerings and will be back. The location itself isn't that appealing but it is very open and clean. Additionally the staff (whom I believe to be a family), are very welcoming, friendly, and genuinely take pride in what they're serving.

I came here today with my dad for lunch, who is here from out of town. The food was absolutely amazing! Our server went out of her way to accommodate us. Because it was our first time here, she made sure that we tried everything straight from the kitchen. I will definitely be back again and soon...

My first experience a few months ago and overall it was good. On my second visit I bought a Groupon and what a deal! $13 for $20 worth of food. They have added some additional items to the Hot Buffet that I had not seen before. The items are now clearly marked which was an issue on my last visit. So this time I visited on a Saturday and enjoyed the Weekend Buffet which is a few dollars more (have Groupon, Yeah!) but there were more meat choices and true Brazilian side dishes to choose from. They had Picanha on the buffet which I'd not heard of before. Picanha is a cut of beef popular in Brazil. In the U.S. it is little known, but referred to as the rump cover, rump cap or coulotte. North American butchers generally divide it into other cuts like the rump, the round and the loin. In some places in the US it is called top sirloin cap. This is the best of the best of all beef and it was so tender and seasoned in according to Brazilian tradition. Along with the Tilapia, Bacon Wrapped Chicken Breasts and Pork Ribs I see why they charge a little more on the weekends as they offer more meat choices as they are busier on weekends I guess. Their rice and steamed vegetables (broccoli, fresh corn and cauliflower) were a perfect complement to the high quality meats and the salad bar was better with the odd items marked better and a nice girl kept our drinks full so I tipped the server $10. I guess they read their reviews as last visit that was an issue. Anyway with everything our bill for 2 of us was just about $40 but was just $20 with the Groupon credit. Nice! I hope they keep putting out a Groupon. By the way, try the Pudim for dessert ( I think it was the only dessert they had). It's like custard but not terribly sweet. My only other comment is that they should provide a physical menu that explains their drink and buffet options and pricing. I overheard someone at the place that night saying they were preparing to offer the custom carved rotisserie meat items on the weekends. Hopefully, when I go back they'll have that available too. This place must be growing popularity as there were 10 parties on one side and group of about 20+ people were on the opposite side having some kind of {Birthday, Anniversary?) celebration. This place is probably one of the best kept secrets in the area. I recommend you try it on a weekend.

I bought a groupon for this place. Excited to try it, was looking forward to getting some good brazilian steak/food. Went in very hungry too. Ok it is a buffet I tried a little bit of every item. Some things were average at best, other things just straight up disappointing. Extremely over priced. Service was not bad. But I would not recommend eating here for anyone. Waste of time.
